Destitute HIV+ women are referred into this programme by the Etafeni counsellors, community caregivers, social workers and clinic staff. They are trained in embroidery, smocking, patchwork and beading. The crafts produced are sold locally and internationally, and through individual orders, giving our HIV+ members a steady income.
In this programme members are offered counselling, advocacy at the clinics, skills training, care for their children and a nutrition programme.
Prospective buyers see the Our Crafts ... section on the home page.
