Children Affected by AIDS

Two Social Workers and eighteen Community Care Workers identify AIDS vulnerable children in AIDS affected households in the community. They provide access to social grants as well as educational, nutritional and emotional support. They also monitor the childrens' health and school performance. The Etafeni Centre provides a hub of services into which they can refer their AIDS vulnerable clients.
